Interested in a career in the construction industry? Our Building Futures for Youth program could be your first step to a career in the skilled trades. Find information on applying for the program, who’s eligible, and all the answers to your frequently asked questions. Our website also contains lots of information on careers in the construction industry; you can find out what it takes to begin your apprenticeship, continue your education and pick the career that’s right for you. Did you know that 40% of new jobs in the coming decade will be in skilled trades or technology? And that skilled trades people in NS earn about 21% higher wages than other NS workers?
